I'm originally from Pompano Beach, Florida where I lived for 22 years. In 1989, I moved to Virginia with my wife, Lisa. I wanted a career I could really be passionate about so, in 1999, I got my real estate license and then a few years later, I became a broker. Real estate is the perfect marriage of two things I love; houses and working with people. Over the years I have met and been blessed to work with some wonderful people. I've seen young couples turn into families as babies have arrived and seen the kids I met as toddlers go off to college. I treat my clients like family and I have been so fortunate that they treat me that way, too. It's great when you enjoy what you do in life and I love being a Realtor.

Amy B. Baker, Buyer's Specialist
I have been a licensed Realtor® since 2003. Prior to making the transition to real estate, I was the Executive Director of The Innovation Groups, a non-profit local government association, for 10 years. I have loved every minute of being a buyer’s agent for the Mark Adams Team. There is just something so rewarding about connecting with our clients and helping them to find the perfect home. Every experience is new and different- being a Realtor® is never boring!
Lisa Adams, Marketing and Operations
I became a licensed agent in 2002 but I've worked for the Mark Adams Team behind the scenes since 1999. I'm in charge of marketing and operations here. I enter our listings in the MLS as well as multiple other web sites, take photographs and create the brochures for the houses we represent. When a home goes under contract, I process all the paperwork and act as a liaison between the attorneys, lenders and inspectors. Mark calls me his grounding force and the foundation behind MAT. In my spare time, I love to travel, garden and cook. You could say I'm a real homebody! I also love animals and volunteer for CARE-Cat Adoption and Rescue Effort weekly.
The Mark Adams Team will make sure that all your real estate questions and concerns are taken care of. We are constantly taking continuing education courses on all facets of real estate. We can help you with all your relocation needs, whether you are moving into or out of the Richmond area.
